For your students… No more than 6 students to a group Topics can be: – Chosen from website list of options (coming soon) – Use science data from mission folder – Come up with their own Develop testable question, design investigation, conduct it, analyze data, compile results into science poster
Safety & Ethical Issues Safety considerations when working with: – Chemicals – Mold and micro-organisms – Electricity – Radiation – Vertebrate Animals (including humans) Ethical considerations: – Do no harm – Treat vertebrates and invertebrates humanely
Mini-proposals (due Feb 16 th ) No more than 2-pages Title Introduction Testable Question & Hypothesis Materials Planned Procedure – Investigation Design Table – Description of data collection – Description of data analysis
Science Posters Tri-folds Top poster will be reviewed by scientists and education team, with students presenting it Second and third runner up posters can be brought to be set up for others to see Investigation Rubric
