ADJUNCT FACULTY Hired for specific course Day – 11 week quarter - classes - five days a week - block schedule-days vary - NFC only Evening – Compressed schedules 5 ½ Weeks Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - 5:45 p.m. - 10:15 p.m.
Medical Evening Eleven Weeks Offered - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 5:45 p.m. – 10:15 p.m. – One night per week Online Coursework 51/2 week schedule Mostly General Education Classes –English –Math –Critical Thinking –Ethics –Human Relations

UNIVERSAL CURRICULUM Consists of: Syllabi Detailed Class Outlines (lesson plans) Handouts Tests and Quizzes
FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Goal – improve quality of teaching Train faculty on instructional techniques that work at PTI. Train on technology in the classroom and PTI recordkeeping systems Adjunct – required 8 hours pre-service training and 3 hours in-service
COMPENSATION Level 11 coursework $41 per hour Level 11A coursework $55 per hour
Pay flat rate per course based on number of class hours (33 hour, 44 hours, and 55 hours) Compensation includes: –Prep time –Grading –Office hours –Faculty Development Training
