UK architecture consists of variety of architectural styles. England became the centre of island architecture, but a significant role in the international history of architecture has a unique style of Ireland, Scotland, Wales. Although there are examples of prehistoric and classical building, the British architectural history begins with the first Anglo-Saxon Christian church, built soon after the arrival of Augustine of Canterbury to Britain in 597 samples of Norman architecture found in the XI century across the UK and Ireland.

Since prehistoric times, preserved megalithic tombs, which belong to the Neolithic. Among the most famous buildings of the II millennium BC. - Ritual complex of Stonehenge. Huge boulders in conjunction with a special system creates an unusual ensemble with the surrounding landscape near the city of Salisbury, 130 kilometers south-west of London.

Oxford - a city of towering spiers, famous worldwide for its university and history. For over 800 years, it has been home to royalty and scholars.

City of Bath was founded by the Romans in 43 the birth of Christ. The Romans called it Aquae Sulis, but all is not casual, because it was a city- spa! This is not just a randomly chosen place for the construction of the city, there is the river Avon and being the only natural hot springs in England.

The new Wembley Stadium was opened in 2007, four years after the demolition of the old stadium "Wembley". The new stadium holds 90,000 spectators and is the second largest capacity stadium in Europe. It plays home matches England national football team.

This is the first pedestrian crossing over the River Thames in central London for a century, thus opening a new milestone in time and the new millennium, because the bridge was opened June 10, 2000.
