The respiratory system is the biological system of any organism that engages in gas exchange. This serves for us to breath so we can live and do a lot of things.

The primary function of the respiratory system is the supply of oxygen to the blood so this in turn delivers oxygen to all parts of the body.

The main organs of the respiratory system are: Lungs Trachea Bronchi Diaphragm

The main diseases of the respiratory system are: Asthma: It is a cronic respiratory disease that inflames the bronchis. Bronchitis: Is a disease that inflames the bronchis. Pharyngitis: It inflames the pharynx.
