Using Satellite Images to Explore our Dynamic Earth LuAnn Dahlman, TERC Education specialist & general inspiration Robert Simmon, SSAI/NASA GSFC Data handling, design, & prototyping Change over Time

A selection of image pairs from the NASA Earth Observatory illustrationg the dynamic Earth: Coastal change, Deforestation, Drought, Dust, haze, & air pollution, Fires, Floods, Glaciers, Human presence, Ice shelves & sea ice, Lakes, Landslides, Rivers, Seasonal change, Severe weather, Suspended sediments, Tsunamis, and Volcanoes. We chose the minimum possible toolset: a web browser. Image browsing and simple analysis functionality are provided through standard web technologies: HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The content is based on existing images in the NASA Earth Observatory. Change over Time
