What is CamStudio?  A technology that is capable of streaming free videos through recording all screen and audio activity on a computer.  Creates AVI files using a SWF Producer AV1 files are audio-video files SWF is a shock-wave file which creates animated vector graphics

History  Originally designed as an open source in 2001 by RenderSoft.  An updated version (version 2.1) was created in 2003 by eHelp Corporation.  The current version (version 2.0) was released in 2007 as a free software.

Possible Uses of CamStudio  Create demonstration videos for software programs.  Create video tutorials for school or university classes.  Create informational videos for marketing.  Record tricks and techniques of using other software programs so you will not forget how to use them.
