The Daffodils By:Team 4: Camryn Magsby, Catherine Taylor, Liam Doughtery, and Jaylon Cunningham

The Garden We plan to build a garden on the school property. We are going to plant trees and other plants to take in carbon dioxide. Carbon Dioxide is what people breathe out and it is put in the atmoshpere. There can also be smaller trees in classrooms due to twenty-six students breathing out. On the concept map that we recieved, it stated that the more vegetation that is in an area, the more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Plants use carbon dioxide and helps lessen the amount that is in the atmosphere.

The Funds We thought that we could have a carnival to help raise money for the garden. During our brainstorming, we thought the carnival could be held on a local church's property or at or school. A couple of cons about having the carnival at school is: o too long for approval from the school board o hard to manage where people could be in the school We concluded that having the fund raiser at a local church would be better An added benefit, the carnival would not only be for the Meigs students but the entire community.

The Carnival We are planning to have different activities at the carnival where everyone will enjoy themselves at a reasonable price. At the carnival, we will have rides, different activities such as arts and crafts, tattoo art, and fun contests that include a dance off. We will also provide food that people can buy at a very good price. We will also we have a contest where everyone while have a ticket with a number or numbers, and whoever has that number wins a prize.

Concept Map This project related to the concept map because it is based on deforestation to vegetation to carbon dioxide.

Conclusion If we were given the opportunity to have the carnival for a fund raiser, it would be a big asset for Meigs Magnet School to have a garden and help us have cleaner air.
