Father of Lying John 8:44-47 – Hebrews 6:18 – “You are of your father the devil… (He) does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” Hebrews 6:18 – “in which it is impossible for God to lie”

Conclusion Lying is sin & we must treat it that way. Lying is of the devil. Lying is serious. Lying separates us from God, from God’s blessings, and from God’s promises. Lying will keep us out of heaven. We are to speak the truth and let our “Yes be Yes” and our “No be No”.
