Initial Pilot 8 weeks (Jan 2013) Nurse in college for 3 hrs each week Aim to see 3 students each week Experience & expertise on site

Targeting Support No referral process No defined criteria- who are staff concerned about? No waiting list Early intervention Support for college staff

Aims of the Sessions in College The appointments aim to offer assessment of the presenting difficulties, to identify how the student might best be supported by one or more of the following interventions: Signposting to another service, Referral to a CAMHS or AMHS in their area of residence. Student Support Services in college Ongoing support from the MHN

Presenting Problems  Anxiety,  Low Mood,  Self Harm.  Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD)  Psychosis  Other issues have included difficult family and peer relationships, stress, financial hardship, difficulties with gender, eating and parental illness.
