The Revolutionary War was a war fought between the English and the colonies

King George needed money to pay for the French and Indian war Stamp Act Tea Act Intolerable Acts

 The stamp act was a tax placed on South Carolina.  It was placed on goods such as legal documents, playing cards, and newspapers.

 The stamp act did not work so King George made the Tea Act.  The Tea Act was when king George said that South Carolinians had to only drink British tea

 King George was angry so he made the Intolerable Acts.  The Intolerable Acts was when King George took away Boston’s government, and blockaded the ports

 Cowpens  Utah Springs  Kings Mountain

 The Patriots won by making the Loyalists surrender

 The Battle of Cowpens was when the Loyalists where winning and the Patriots pretended to surrender but Loyalists followed and got ambushed by other Patriots.

 Loyalists moved to Yorktown, Virginia.  When they got there the Patriots and the French were waiting.  The French cornered them to kill them and end the war.
