Setting Up Your Composition Book

Composition Book WHY? Keep your work organized Allow you to do your homework more efficiently Assist you in studying and taking exams Important!!!! Keep your composition book up to date daily

Directions for Setting Up LABEL the first 20 pages of your composition book starting with Week 1 (Week 2, Week 3…) in the top center of the page above the blue line (front and back). These will be your “table of contents” and you will start a NEW page for every week of the semester. Week 1

Directions for Setting Up After the “table of contents” NUMBER the pages starting with “21” on the top outside corner of the pages (front and back.) Number at least the first 30 pages; you will add more page numbers as you need them. 21

Maintaining Your Composition When you come to class EVERY day, take out your composition before doing anything else. Copy the assignments on the (board, projector, overhead) into your assignment log. Then complete your Vocabulary/Do Now Start each NEW assignment at the TOP of a new page in the body of your composition book (after the 1 st 10 pages.)
