NONPROFITS VOTE 2014 CAMPAIGN: AN OVERVIEW Presented by

Create a coordinated engagement campaign for human service nonprofits Build permanent state infrastructure for this work Evaluate our impact STATES PROGRAM GOALS/FOCUS Goals/ Focus

Training and technical assistance Networking and peer learning opportunities Database and evaluation support Promotion in our communications Access to free, monthly webinars, tools, resources and materials tailored for nonprofits Election swag such as posters and buttons Information on NVRD events Partner grants and mini-grants WHAT NONPROFIT VOTE PROVIDES

Attend the convening Provide a point person for this work Recruit a cohort of nonprofit service providers as participants Hold a program kickoff/training with participants. Provide training and ongoing support to participants. Set a goal that half of voter contacts are new or updated voter registrations STATE PARTNER ACTIVITIES

Participate in a national check-in call every six weeks starting in May 2014 Collect and enter all data from participants for follow up and evaluation purposes Facilitate GOTV activities including at least one follow up contact Promote voter engagement broadly Participate in and promote NVRD Participate in a debrief by phone in December 2014 STATE PARTNER ACTIVITIES
