What Is A Transition A "transition is an effect that places animation between slides in a PowerPoint. These transitions include sound, speed, movements. The right combination of transition can make your Powerpoint a great Powerpoint.
How Do I Add A Transition 1. Open your PowerPoint presentation and go to the slide where you want to add a transition effect. 2. Click once on the slide, then go to the Slide Show menu.Slide Show 3. Select Slide Transition. 4. Select the transition effect you want to use from the drop-down menu. 5. Select the speed: Slow, Medium or Fast. 6. Add a sound, if you want, from the drop-down Sound menu.
CONTINUE 7. Click Loop Until Next if you want the sound to repeat until you move to the next slide in the presentation (this can be annoying, so use it sparingly). 8. Select how you want to move from this slide to the next in your presentation by selecting either "On mouse click" or "Automatically after x seconds," where "x" is a number you enter. 9. Click Apply to apply these changes to one slide or click Apply to All to apply these changes to the entire presentation.
