3 3/6 CJK IMT 28, Xi’an, China Result of Regional WS WS is very successful and fruitful. It has –more than 170 participants from about 30 countries within Asia Pacific region –Total 10 presentations from ITU, Industry and Administrations Key messages –Mobile services are being rapidly increased anywhere and further increase is expected –New technologies such as data-offloading to Wi-Fi may increase spectral efficiency in spectrum insufficiency –However, substantial growth in demand for mobile data traffic over the next 5-10 years thus more spectrum for mobile services/IMT are required.
