Welcome!  My name is Sara Gottlieb  I teach learning support English, math, and resource room  This is my 3 rd year at NHS  I have a bachelors in English literature, and a masters in secondary education  I went to Penn State University and Holy Family University  Teaching is my passion, and I love what I do

How can I know what my child did today in school?  Your child can show you at any time…  Their binders/interactive notebooks will have any classwork and graded tests/quizzes  Check my website at  me at

How can I know about any homework or special assignments?  My website is updated daily…  Everything we do in class is on the website  Calendar of daily homework, upcoming assignments, quizzes, and tests  All class handouts can be downloaded and printed  Your child should be…  Reviewing his/her notebook on a nightly basis  Completing homework every night that it is assigned  Reviewing homework and studying for upcoming quizzes and tests

How are grades determined?  Your child’s grade is determined in a variety of ways…  Assessment techniques, some of which include homework, classwork, binder checks, quizzes, tests, and projects  Late homework is accepted for ½ credit  I use e-school; therefore, you may use home access to check your child’s grade at any time
