Assist the speaker by coming up with points of why you are for or against your issue. You have 20 minutes to prepare. Your group will vote who gave the best case. The group with the best case will get the best mark on this assignment.

Rules Everyone in the group must contribute something. The speaker shouldn’t be coming up with what to say. Speaking is their job. The rest of the group has to write out what the speaker will say. Every person will vote on how the other groups did. You will not vote for your own group. Best = 10 pts Second Best = 8 pts Third Best = 6 pts Write the score on the corresponding groups sheet of colored paper. Do not discuss your scores with anyone else. You will score each group at the end of the debate.
