Radians Introduction and Conversion of Angles

Mathematicians use a unit of measurement called radians to measure angles. Why you ask? Degrees & radians are similar to percent & decimals. Saying you need to take 85% off a sale item has meaning, but mathematical we can only work with the number value 0.85 An angle measure of 45 ⁰ has meaning, but in order to make mathematical calculations (trigonometry & calculus) we must work with a number value…radians.
