Cleaning Tips To Keep House Clean With Pets
Presentation transcript:

Before hamsters lived in our homes as pets they were located in the dessert scurrying around in the sand. Nowadays humans have found and observed them as pets.

Hamsters may seem small and easy to take care of but they are not as easy as they look They need many supplies to survive, here is a list of what they need... 1.A cage (preferably quite big with lots of space to run around in!!!) 2.Clean bedding I.E: Sawdust, wood shavings and fleece. 3.Toys ( to relieve boredom and to chew on ) 4.A ball or wheel to get exercise in

Every now and again it is nice to give your hamster a small treat like a piece of hamster safe chocolate or a chew stick to fit on to the bar of its cage. But only every now and again because it could have bad effects on your hamster which could make it fat/over weight!! You could also feed your hamster some fruit of veg as a treat and for some health. Be careful of what you give them, seeing as some foods can make them ill. To start of with I would strongly recommend you give it a very minimal portion of apple, carrot or broccoli.

Hamsters love exploring so the ideal pastime for them is to run in a ball around your house. Even just running for 2 minutes to 20 minutes it is a fun and worthwhile activity that will bust all boredom!!! However if you leave your hamster in its ball for too long it will get exhausted and exhaustion can lead to as bad things such as dying, so only a max of 10 minutes a night will be plenty!!!

Because hamsters are such tidy creatures they do keep themselves quite clean anyway but if you are worried the are dirty and want to groom them you can always buy a `finger groomer’ and wet their fur slightly or just buy some disinfecting wipes. But your hamster will remain clean because you should clean it out every week anyway!!!

It is no fuss to have a hamster once you get in to a routine and the are no different to adult hood than child hood except the amount of food you give them!!! Make sure you follow these instructions carefully and your hamster will be as healthy and as easy as can be!!!
