Meet Your Librarian Welcome to the Ann Canavan Middle School Media Center! The library is the best place to be if you want to read, be involved in podcasts, hang out, solve mysteries, and have a hoppin’ good time. I’m Ms. Lemmie Reed, your librarian. I’ve been involved in education for twenty-eight years. I have a bachelor’s in Special Education from the University of Oklahoma, and a Masters in Special Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. Currently, I’m working on my Masters in Library Media Specialist.

Mr. Reed and I have been married for fourteen years. We have three children, John, a senior at Norman North High School, Steven, an eighth grader at Whittier Middle School, and Rachel, a fifth grader at Truman Elementary. We are busy with Special Olympics, orchestra, soccer and basketball. I think being a librarian is the BEST job ever and working at ACMS is the BEST school ever. Come by and let’s get to know one another!

Sequoyah Books It’s that time of year again! The 2012 Sequoyah book nominees have been released for your reading pleasure! Check out the Animoto then come by and visit our display of all the books. Read or listen to three books or more Vote for your favorite book Attend the Sequoyah party in May Your vote, along with others from around the state will determine the intermediate winner of the Sequoyah book award. Let your voice be heard!

Out and About with those Fabulous Frogs… Check back weekly for the latest and greatest in school activities, sports, clubs, surprise photos.
