Proposal PowerPoint: Project EP Four Track Experimental E.P to be released on April 22 nd 2016.

Internal 4 Track Experimental E.P. Story Based E.P With musical styling of blended hip hop, DnB, metal & classical genres. The feel of the E.P is ambient, aggressive and emotive. Mostly Influenced by Tech N9ne’s Album Special Effects & Kendrick Lamar’s – To pimp a butterfly.

Influences pt. 1 Tech N9ne – Special Effects. Why? Influenced by the use of experimenting with the production. [Example] Recording with different mic positions on unusual instruments, Blending elements of classical music with rap rock, The use of production techniques such as - stuttering vocals, beat displacement, Binaural techniques Etc. Useful Examples found in the following YouTube link; -{The Making of Special Effects}- {Influence Tracks} Tech N9ne – Wither

Influences Pt. 2 Kendrick Lamar – To pimp a butterfly. Why? To pimp a butterfly would play a big part in the overall arrangement of the E.P due to its poetry skits introduced between tracks to act as Segway's from one Element of the album to another. [Example] A couple lines are read to introduce the vibe or feeling of the next section of the album such as a skit of Kendrick reading a couple lines with the idea of corruption in the music industry and how it can change artists that leads into the next song having that idea and vibe in mind. The skits play over until the end where we come to a realization of a poem reading by Kendrick to Tupac. The skits won’t play apart of the four track E.P (There will be no skits in between tracks) but the concept of having the project act as a story is important to insure that the project isn’t a general project with no real intentions of artist creation and to generate interest.

My Role in the E.P Producer/mix engineer. Executive producer of the whole project. Production purposes Involve the mixing of individual tracks. Composer Instrumental Compositions will be be composed by me through the use of logic & FL studio. Sound Engineer Studio Recordings will be recorded by me. Also Experimental sound design for certain aspects of instrumentation and textures will be recorded by me.

The Marketing My Target Audience; The targeted audience will range from different age groups BUT the main audience I believe this Project will attract will be based upon the musical styling of the project (Metal & Hip Hop Fans) I will market this project through the means of posting Artwork and soundcloud snippets of title tracks through social media pages such as Facebook, twitter & a personal website. The E.P Will be sold via online sites such as bandcamp, beatstars & a personal download from the VibesMusic website. It will be a good idea to produce hard copies to add interest in purchasing the product because people like to have physical copies of a project. These hard copies will be exclusive cd & vinyl copies with a limited amount of copies made (CD x10) - (Vinyl x2). Rare packages containing a hard copy of the E.P, hard copy download card containg the E.P link and a free exclusive beat download will be produced at a higher price than a single copy to again produce interest.
