Presentation transcript:

Mrs. Ruch’s Class Procedures Entering Class: If homework is graded, turn it in the turn in slot. If homework is not graded, have sitting on corner of desk. Complete bell ringer on board at beginning of class. Complete on marker boards or scrap paper. Once complete, share with partner. First person in class should pass back papers if any.

Partner Work First think to yourself. Once both are ready, both MUST share their answer. Be prepared to share and explain you answer to the class. Preparation for Class Must bring a pencil, notebook, calculator, and book. Get calculator at start of class. Sharpen your pencils before class. If you must get up to sharpen a pencil during class, do so quietly.

Homework Turn in on time, at the beginning of class. Lose 10 points a day for a late assignment. Posted on side board. If absent, it is your responsibility to get homework in and get the homework you missed. If leaving school early, it is your responsibility to turn in your homework and find out what you are missing. Must be done in pencil or you will lose points. For homework not being graded, I will check for completeness and score either a 0, 1, or 2.

Leaving Class Turn in all materials, including calculators. Leave when I dismiss you, this also applies to subs. If I have a ticket out the door that day, you must have it correct to leave. Leave room as you found it! Substitutes Treat them with respect. If there is a problem, you will either spend time after school or before school and write an apology letter. All rules that apply when I am here, apply when I am not!

Some Final Class Procedures If you want my attention raise your hand, no shouting across the room. If I want the attention of the entire class I will raise my hand and say can I have your attention. Ask 3 before me! If you finish work early, you must have something to do, whether its reading or other homework. If you don’t have anything to do, I will give you something to do. To go to the bathroom, raise hand. You will not be able to go if I am in the middle of a lesson. One at time may go. You must sign out and in. During quizzes and tests, you must spread your desks out. You must remain quiet until EVERYONE is finished. When quiz or test is over, move your desks back.
