WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE A MINER? By Elyjah and Carson

Are you interested in mining ? The question that this report is mainly about is What is it like to be a miner? There are many jobs miners can do in a mine. For example, mechanics, truck drivers, drillers, electricians, And much more.

What is a mine? A mine is made up of lots of tunnels, stopes, and shafts. A stope is a place in a mine where all the work is done. A shaft is a elevator that carries miners to the surface of the mine.

Search parties The first thing you should know about miners is that they’re very caring. If someone is missing he wouldn’t say no to helping look.

Miners are usually sore Miners are usually sore if they are tall. That is because mine tunnels are very small and the miners have to stand on they’re knees. So that makes being short an advantage.

Miners schedule’s Some miners slept in mines and only saw sunlight on Saturday. Can you imagine that! Some miners fainted because they hadn’t had fresh air for almost a week.

strikes There are always unhealthy conditions in mines. Some miners quit because of the conditions. That was called a strike.
