The National Certificate in Umpiring and Officiating

Who is it for? This qualification is intended to recognise the skills required to officiate at intermediate to top levels of sport competition. Certificate holders are able to apply their knowledge and skills to familiar and new situations in sport competitions. Each holder of this certificate will apply the specific skills of umpiring and officiating to their chosen sport code.

The background Mandated by Government to: 1 ) Set skill standards and qualifications 2) Arrange for the delivery of workplace learning and training 3) Provide industry leadership by identifying skill needs, developing strategic training plans, and promoting learning that meets industry needs
