*An adult Black Rhinoceros is 140–170 cm high at its shoulder and is 3.3–3.6 m in length. An adult weighs from 800 to 1,400 kg (1,800 to 3,100 lb). *Two horns on the skull are made of keratin (same stuff that our finger nails are made of) with the larger front horn cm long. *Skin colour depends more on local soil conditions, most black rhinos are typically not truly black in colour. *The Black Rhino is smaller than the White Rhino, and has a long, pointed, and prehensile upper lip.

*The Black Rhino is a herbivore that eats leafy plants, branches, shoots, thorny wood bushes, and fruit. Their diet can reduce the amount of woody plants. *The black rhino eats up to 220 species of plants. *Drinking water is most common in the afternoon.

The black rhino live in the Savannah of east and south Africa. Like/ live in in open grassy woodlands Like open plains so that they can roam Particularly live around waterholes

*The black rhinoceros is also commonly known as the "prehensile-lipped rhinoceros" *It is also known as the "hook-lipped rhinoceros", once again referring to its prehensile lip. *It has thick skin and 2-3 thick horns on the front of its noes for fighting over territory.

The Black Rhinoceros migrates because the all of the previous water holes they occupy run out if water. So they set off in search of another waterhole and food.

The Black Rhinoceros migrates in the summer time 4 times a year to cooler places of the savannah dessert were other water holes are located.

Rhinos migrate by leaving their previous water hole and walking in herds of 5/ most of the time it’s a family, and finding a suitable water hole for their liking.
