Presentation transcript:

 Thick skin like a rock  Wrinkled skin  Big weird ears  Most important it’s BIG two gray horns, one on their nose the other one is right behind it

 Most of their kind shares its envorment with its almost exact twin brothers named The White Rhinos.  They live in Africa  Their climate is warm  Unlike their brothering northern India.

Despite it horrifying look a Black Rhino is a herbivore. Which means it does not eat meat it only eats plants which are of made herbs as in herbivore.

 The two horns on a Rhino unlike any other animal its horns are not made out of bones.  They are made out of hair like fibers that are together.  The rhino uses this adaptation for offensive and defensive meaning it is for protection.

 A Black Rhino’s skin gives a Black Rhino protection from predator.  The thick skin helps it survive rough blows by another animal.  This adaotation meets it’s basic need of protection.

 Black Rhinos are able to smell in their sleep.  This particular adaptation is for protection from animals that try to attack it while it is asleep.  Plus it makes up for its bad eyesight.  This adaptation is for protection.
