Principle of Operation: Non Mixing Liquids separate based on their Density difference under gravity. Rate of separation is dependent on the residence time provided and on the laminar nature of the flow. Lower Density liquid floats on the top. Higher density liquid settles down at the bottom.

Desorber Needs and advantages: Needs: Two different liquids to be separated. Separation of two liquids to be continuous. Advantages: Simple, easy and cost effective. Best alternative to conventional skimmers like Belt/ Disc and Rope skimmers which require settling tanks. Gravity operated and hence no electricity required. Mobile unit: A single unit can be used for a variety of applications. No restriction on type of liquid used. Used for all applications involving separation of two non miscible liquids with specific density difference.
