2 Some DISCOMs have proposed to levy Monthly Minimum Fixed Charge (MMFC) in respect of LT Industry(S), LT Industry(M), SPP(LT) and PWW(LT) in terms of KVA. In this connection, CESU may submit whether the above category of consumers are having meters with facility of reading in KVA. Some DISCOms have opted for KVAh billing in place of existing KWh billing. CESU may submit an estimation of consumption data with KVAh billing as well as with KWh billing and the difference thereof and also the revenue implications. CESU should submit status of Bachata Lamp Yojana (BLY) of BEE as directed by the Commission in the last tariff order with their programme of implementation.
3 Some DISCOMs have proposed to levy demand charges on emergency drawal by CGPs of their region apprehending misuse of Clause 80(15) of the Distribution Code. In this context, CESU may submit month-wise individual emergency drawal of CGPs within its area of supply along with their respective rated capacity of the largest unit. OERC had asked DISCOMs vide letter No.238 dtd to submit the DSM activities to be undertaken by them during alongwith their respective costs and benefits. Nothing has been received from CESU so far. CESU may submit the relevant details for FY to the Commission.
