What is a verb? An ACTION VERB shows action. It shows what a noun is doing. Fill in the following sentence with an action verb: I is the noun, and the verbs are showing what the I is doing.

What is a LINKING verb? Averb connects the subject, which is always aor, to another word that identifies or describes the subject.
