Go back and find one of the slides that interests you. Ask a serious question about it. Skip two lines. Answer that question. Use three reasons why. EX: An historical analysis of the novel Frankenstein reveals an anti industrial sentinment through the glorification of nature, the cautionary tale against scientific progress, and the dissolution of emotional ties.

Anti-industrialization: I would talk about how society is building and destroying natural resources, and the way in which the Romantics railed against this. Glorification of nature: Henry and Victor use nature to heal themselves and their relationship Caution against scientific progress: the reanimation of the creature did not fulfill Victor’s desires, but destroyed him emotionally Dissolution of emotional ties: ambition separated Victor from his family, sense of right and wrong.
