Claim  I think the school should host a Halloween dance!

Dawn of the Dead  We have 1000 tickets that can be sold.  It will either be held on the football field, or in the gym on Oct. 30 th from 7pm to 11pm.  It’s two dollars for a ticket in advance, and three dollars for a ticket at the door.  We will provide: 1. Refreshments 2. Decorations 3. Music Disagreements Some people think a Halloween Dance would be too much work and take up a lot of time.

Being provided/Rebuttal 1. Music  Speakers  Playlist 1. Decorations  Strobe lights,  Skeletons,  Fake zombies,  Cauldrons,  Crystal ball, etc,. 1. Refreshments  Chips,  Punch,  Nachos,  Pizza, etc,. If a lot of people help out, decorating won’t be a problem. And since almost everybody decorates for Halloween, most people could just loan house hold items to decorate, which saves a lot of money, and we get good profit in return.

Reasons:  Tons of kids go Trick-or-treating on Halloween. But eventually, most grow out of it. So, why not do something that’s more for kids our age? A Halloween Dance is perfect. A lot of kids will come, because it would be a lot of fun.

Evidence  Last year our school had a Halloween dance. They raised enough money for the whole school to go on a field trip. Which was very expensive.
