Homonyms

Homonyms are words that sound alike but have different meanings. The following words are examples of homonyms: to, too, two great, grate heard, herd

If you don’t use the correct homonyms when writing your writing piece wont make sense. My daughter does knot no how to talk. The old man blue his nose. Reese mist the bus two school yesterday.

In order to use homonyms correctly, you need to know what they mean and how to spell them. Look at part 2 of the worksheet. Fill in the meanings of as many homonyms as you can. Once you have finished you can check your answers with the next slide.
