Easy Step – by – step method to create a backup set for your Main drive on a separate backup hard disk. 1.Turn on Retrospect 2.Select – Automate 3.Select – Scripts 4.Select - New Backing up your hard drive with Retrospect

5. Select – No 6. Select – Backup 7. Select - OK If you select Yes, you will not have The option of backing up to a file. Selecting the Backup method

21. Insert date of first backup. 22. Insert time of first backup. 23. Repeat – Every 2 weeks 24.Action: choose – Recycle 25. Click – OK 26. Click OK Recycle eliminates the need to cleanse The backups periodically. When do you want your backup to occur

Now we are going to generate the alternate week backup set so That you will always have a backup no older than one week. 29. Click - New Beginning the second script

38. Choose – Create New 39.Choose – File then click - New Selecting the storage for backup B

39. Select location for backup. 40. Click - Save This location can not be the same as the drive as the drive to be backed up

42.Click – OK 43. Click - OK Verifying the backup destination

44.Select – Schedule 45. Select - Add Setting the final schedule

46. Select – Repeating Interval, then – OK 47. Insert date of second backup. 48. Insert time 49. Set repeat interval 50. Action – Recycle 51. Click - OK Start date is one week after the first backup

52.Click – OK 53. Exit out Verifying the second schedule

54.Click – Save and exit the next screen. 54.Select - Preview The task is completed

56.This is your schedule of backups. Once you have gone this far, you can forget about this chore for the next few years. 57.Exit out and quit the Program. Review the weekly schedule – and relax
