LO1 - TASK 1 Alice Murray

TASK 1 Write a list of all the types of technology that you could use for installing a video. Add to Weebly with images.  TV screens  Laptops  Computer screens  Projectors  IPads  IPods  Mobile phones

LO1 - TASK 2 Alice Murray

HOLLIS FRAMPTON - NOSTALGIA   For this installation, I would have an old fashioned set up. This is because the film is from 1971 and is in black and white. I would have it playing on three different old fashioned television screens, the first TV screen playing the beginning of the film, the second TV screen playing the middle part of the film and the third TV screen playing the ending. I would also have old fashioned cameras hanging above the TV screens as this film is made up of black and white photographs along with some black and white photographs from the film pinned on the wall.

ANDY WARHOL – 8 HOUR FILM OF THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING   In order to set up this installation, I would have one big projector set up playing the film on a white canvas. The rest of the room would be black and there would be sofas around to sit on. All the lights would be off so the focus is just on the film playing from the projector.

SAM TAYLOR – WOOD – ‘DAVID’   For this installation, I would have one big screen in the middle of a dark room surrounded by sofas and cushions for people to sit on. This would make the atmosphere peaceful and kind of tiring in a way which is what the installation video shows – someone sleeping. I would also have bedside lights and fairy lights surrounding the room to show warmth and homeliness.
