AP European History Course Description: The AP European History course consists of an intense and thorough study of European civilization from 1450 to the present. It is a college-level course that uses lectures, class discussions, independent studies, readings from primary/secondary sources, and timed writings. This course is designed for those who are interested in an in-depth study of major movements, problems, and crises of European history. Students will take the AP test in May for college credit or advanced placement in their program of study with successful test results.
