AGREE CONCLUSIONS  AGREE is the first appraisal instrument for clinical guidelines to be developed and tested internationally  It can be used consistently by a wide range of professionals from different cultural backgrounds  Need several appraisers (4) to assess one guideline  Domain scores should not be aggregated

AGREE UPDATE  The AGREE Instrument bas been translated into 10 European languages  All EU funded projects requested to assess CPGs with AGREE Instrument  WHO has endorsed the AGREE Instrument  Council of Europe formally recommends its use  Becoming the gold standard in guideline appraisal  New release planned 2009 – 7 point scale
