 Lesson Outline 1. Review Classroom Expectations (2 Mins). 2. Reflect on previous week’s goal setting. Remind students that a little bit of progress each week is beneficial – Nemo – “Just Keep Swimming” (3-5 Mins). 3. Set new goals (3-5 Mins). 4. One way to reach your goals is to understand how actions and consequences affect your learning and life (2 Mins). 5. Watch video on celebrities who faced adversity and had choices. Discuss it. Celebrities (5-6 Mins). Celebrities SSS Lesson Six

 Lesson Outline 6. Whole group go over the consequences and action story about Joe and discuss each choice. (5 Mins). 7. Split students in to groups. 8. Give each group a scenario where they choose three actions and three consequences. Writing down their choices on the story template (8-10 Mins). 9. When finished, groups trade stories and review actions and consequences. Group makes suggestions on other possible actions or consequences (4-5 Mins). 10. Review their work (2 Mins). SSS Lesson Six
