How Bikes Help The Environment By Josh and Lucie

Why bikes are good for you They keep you fit and healthy

A,B,C and H check A stands for air B stands for brakes C stands for chain H stands for handlebars Before you ride you must do the ABCH check. If something is wrong when you are doing the check, If the tyre feels soft then look if it has a puncture and if it doesn’t, pump it up.

Our Picture from fresco by Lucie and Josh

How bikes help the world doesn’t cost you any money They aren’t that expensive They don’t produce Co2 They don’t break down They don’t use electricity They don’t have any air conditioning or radio They are very efficient

Parts of bikes Handlebars Wheels Bell Chain Brakes Pedals Seat Frame

Carbon Dioxide and Climate Change Every time we burn fossils such as gas, coal or oil, Carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere. In a natural carbon cycle, carbon dioxide is re-absorbed by plants and trees.

Our Cycling We have recently had a Cycling Test and we all passed. Me and Josh liked cycling on the road the best. apparently Josh says “Mr Padfield is a very good teacher” We wish Mr Padfield would still be able to teach because we all liked him. (And we all passed) We all wish him the best
