Opening a Project File To Open a Project File 1. Sonar 를 실행한다. 2. File-Open 을 선택한다. 3. Open Dialog Box 에서 Tutorial 폴더를 찾아서 Tutorial1.CWP 를 선택한다 4. Open 버튼을 클릭한다.

Preparing for Playback To Insert Cakewalk TTS-1 To Insert Cakewalk TTS-1 into a Project To Choose MIDI Outputs for Your Project's Tracks To Enable Audio Outputs To Choose an Audio Output for your Synth Track

- Play 를 위한 사전 준비 1. Play 하기 전에 MIDI sound 와 Audio Sound 의 출 력을 선택 소나에게 어느 출력에서 소리를 듣기 원하는지를 말한다. 2. 먼저 가상 악기를 이용하여 들어본다. 3. 가상악기는 오디오 출력으로 연결 되야 한다. 4. 가상악기와 오디오 데이터의 출력은 연결되어있 는 앰프, 스피커 혹은 헤드폰을 통하여 소리를 듣게 된다.

To Insert Cakewalk TTS-1 - To Insert Cakewalk TTS-1 into a Project Insert-Soft Synths 명령에서 Cakewalk TTS-1 을 선택 한다. 대화상자가 나타난다 Create These Tracks 에서, MIDI source 를 해제한다.[ 우리는 이미 있는 Cakewalk TTS-1 를 사용한다.] First Synth Audio Output Option 이 선택되어 있나 확인. [ 이 트랙은 이미 audio input 에 연결된 Cakewalk TTS-1 이 선택되 어 있다.] Open These Windows 난에서 Synth Property Pages 만 선택 – OK - 그러면 Cakewalk TTS- 1 의 Property Page(Interface) 가 나타난다.[ 여기서는 아무것 도 조정하지 않는다.][Property 창을 닫는다 ] Ok 를 클릭한다.

-To Choose MIDI Outputs for Your Project's Tracks 1. Track View 에서 화살표를 클릭하여 Track 의 Output 메뉴를 나타나게 한다. 미디트랙은 트랙번호 오른쪽에 미디아이콘이 나타난다. 2. Cakewalk TTS 를 선택 3. 다른 트랙도 같은 방법으로 선택한다. 가상악기가 발생한 소리를 Audio Output 을 통해 듣는 다.

- To Enable Audio Outputs 1. 메뉴에서 Option-Audio 를 선택한다. Audio Option 대화상자가 나타난다. 2. Audio Option dialog box 에서 Driver 를 선택 3. Output Driver 에서 원하는 장치를 선택한다. 가능한 Driver 는 첵크되어 나타난다. 원하는 오디오출력이 synth track 의 Output 메뉴 에 선택된 대로 가능하게 된다.

- To Choose an Audio Output for your Synth Track Track View 에서 출력 화살표 를 클릭 – 트랙번호 옆의 synth icon 이 구별되게 된다. Output 화살표에서 스피커가 연결되어 있는 Audio Output 를 선택한다.
