ولما كان ابرام ابن تسع و تسعين سنة ظهر الرب لابرام وقال له انا الله القدير سر امامي وكن كاملا. فاجعل عهدي بيني و بينك واكثرك كثيرا جدا. فسقط ابرام على وجهه و تكلم الله معه قائلا. اما انا فهوذا عهدي معك وتكون When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. من بعدك في اجيالهم عهدا ابديا لاكون الها لك و لنسلك من بعدك. واعطي لك ولنسلك من بعدك ارض غربتك كل ارض كنعان ملكا ابديا واكون الههم.
