Materials : Fine grain sandpaper Pencil Soft Pastels Crayons

Step 1: Sketch a scene Think of something exciting you did or saw. With a pencil, sketch the scene on the sandpaper.

Step 2: Color your picture Use crayons to lightly color parts of your picture. Leave the background blank.

Step 3: Add more color Use soft pastels to add color and depth to your scene. Blend colors together to make your scene more lively.
