Piping and Valves Piping Systems Move fluids (liquids and gases) and some solids from place to place Valves Control direction and flow rates of fluids as they move through the system Two Types of Piping Systems 1. Process lines that carry fluids & some solids 2. Service lines that carry water, gas, steam and air
