Charge of the Committee Determine ways the district can acknowledge diversity and educate our students and community about the wide range of disabilities that the students in Lower Moreland bring to our schools. Conduct and review a needs assessment Review the current resources available to Lower Moreland and discuss additional options to provide training for Students, Parents, Teachers and Community members Develop a District-wide plan to facilitating Awareness for Students, Parents, Teachers and Community members on a wide range of disabilities.

Sub-Committees Needs Assessment Committee: Create, administer and analyze survey data. Research Committee: Collect information from area School Districts relating to what they do to promote Awareness Collect information on the different National Awareness Months Planning Committee: Develop building level and district level activities to promote Awareness, Tolerance, and Diversity Coordinate outside resources to assist LMTSD in promoting Awareness
