In a letter Saying ‘thank you’ is one of the most important steps in acquiring a gift. Past donors should always be thanked for their previous support AND for their continued support. Headquarters sends a thank you letter and 501(c)3 tax letter to all donors. Donor Recognition Donor Recognition is more than stuff, its saying Thanks! Order DR items by October 31 st and present them at DR night held before December 31 st. Its important to thank donors promptly. Donors should also be thanked before being asked to contribute again.
