Online Safety San Antonio ISD is committed to ensuring the online safety of our employees and students while also adhering to federal, local, and state regulations.

Protecting Children in the 21 st Century ▫CIPA-Children’s Internet Protection Act  Enacted early 2001 ▫Protecting Children in the 21 st Century Act  Enacted 10/10/08 ▫Individuals – Appropriate, Acceptable and Ethical behavior

San Antonio ISD “Schools and libraries must also certify that, as part of their Internet safety policy, they are educating minors about appropriate online behavior, including cyberbullying awareness and response and interacting with other individuals on social networking sites and in chat rooms.” Full text of the Protecting Children in the 21 st Century Act is included as Title II of the Broadband data Information Act S (see Sec. 215)
