Module 3 will cover: The use of images in Scratch The use of sound in Scratch The use of Scratch operators Using the ideas from section 3, expand the program using image and sound Share projects online Discussion on how Scratch can support numeracy in the classroom © Lero, NCTE 2012

When saving images to use in Scratch Find an image you wish to use. Right click on the image. Click on “save picture as”. Give the image a meaningful title and save it to a designated folder. © Lero, NCTE 2012

Camera Activity Spend some time (15-20 minutes) taking photos that will form the basis of a Scratch project. Photos should be clear and not too small You can use buildings, nature of even your own body! Consider in advance what photos will best support your project. © Lero, NCTE 2012

Remember! If children are on the internet: Show respect to other users. Never supply personal information to online users. Tell an adult if there is inappropriate content online. See for internet safety lessons. © Lero, NCTE 2012
