Learning with Moodle What do you know? What do you want to know?

Moodle: What is it? … or we just say Moodle.

Professional Development with Moodle

Online Courses – Participants access content online – Facilitated or self paced – Offers flexibility in time and content – Connects participants (location not an issue)

Professional Development with Moodle Hybrid/Blended Courses – Some learning takes place online (synchronous or asynchronous) – Some learning takes place face-to-face – Leverages the best of both modalities

Professional Development with Moodle Online Repositories – Providing easy access to files and resources around a specific topic. – Used as a supplement to a presentation.

Professional Development with Moodle Online Modules – Short “packages” of content that complement a presentation. – Could be used in conjunction with a Hybrid/Blended PD experience.

Professional Development with Moodle Online Social Networks – Leveraging Moodle’s collaboration and discussion tools to form community.

Professional Development with Moodle Face-to-Face Portal – Portal to access content and resources during a face-to-face presentation.

Professional Development with Moodle PLC Workspace – Leveraging Moodle’s collaboration, communication and resource tools to facilitate the work of PLCs.
