INTRO PAGE 1 “thou shalt not suffer a witch to live” these words were taken seriously in Europe for the next four-hundred years people were arrested and executed for witchcraft to ensure gods satisfaction there were strict rules especially for children.

INTO PAGE 2 Young girls falling in to hysterical fits shaking all over, screaming, and claiming to see spirits. and so many people were accused of casting spells most people that were accused were people who weren't in church and lived on the outskirts of town and no body really knew them personally.

SARAH GOOD Sarah's father committed suicide. All her husbands either died or divorced her. Her and her third husband lost all there money and had to beg for food. They lost all there money in the trials because Sarah was accused of being a witch.

REBECCA NURSE Her and her husband were respected members of the church. Rebecca Nurse owned lots of land. Rebecca Nurse and her husband had 8 children. She was accused of being a witch. When she entered the court room girls let out disturbing fits shaking and yelling.

JOHN PROCTOR He owned a tavern in town. His sister accused of being a witch. He accused the young girls of faking the fits. He threaten the girls if they had a fit he would beat them. He was determined to get his wife out of jail. findagrave.com

GILES COREY Giles was a wealthy farmer. He didn’t have any friends. Giles Corey was constantly in court. Corey was accused of being a wizard. Giles was buried alive. dreadcentral.com

CONCLUSION My option on the Salem witch trials is it was probably a legit concern at the time people didn’t know why these girls were going into constant fits, and they had there version of a answer witch was witchcraft if it was me being accused I would be wondering why they picked me and how they got there sources.
