Reporting on LICT LICT Comments from staff satisfactorily applies research skills, effectively used computer websites for research and cited them correctly in final draft (Val Wood) proficiently used Powerpoint to design and present an e-book on Canada's provinces and territories including importing in copyright free images (VW) *was able to use online resources to research a vertebrate, present the information in a word document, and to include the online source as part of a bibliography. LICT Comments * effectively displayed knowledge of main ideas through use of the PowerPoint program, along with using a variety of online resources to access information, and using only copyright-free images in an assignment Lori Bridges

Other LICT Comments Plan and Question Student is able to fill out prior knowledge on a KWL chart and is able to identify what they would like to learn in their research. (P1.1) - is asking simple/more complex questions such as “how” and “why” to guide their research. P.2.1

LICT Comments Gather and Make Sense - is able to find information needed using WorldBook Online Kids/Student version.G is able to narrow an internet search by using various techniques (Boolean operators – and, or, not or symbols + -, etc.) G.2.1
