There are numerous ways to incorporate distance learning into the classroom. We will focus on three.

1. WEB-BASED LESSONS AND PROJECTS Three general Categories of online lesson Interpersonal exchanges- Students communicating via technology with other students or with teachers or other experts (Roblyer, 2016) Information collection and analysis- Using information collections that provide data and information on request (Roblyer, 2016) Problem Solving- Student- oriented and cooperative problem- solving projects (Roblyer, 2016)

1. WEB-BASED LESSONS AND PROJECTS CONT. Ideas for web-based lessons Electronic pen pals- have students write to other students about various ideas Virtual field trips Electronic publishing- have students share the work online Group product development Problem-based learning- allows to students to increase the cognitive skills by working in groups to solve complex questions

2. THE FLIPPED CLASSROOM Students watch a video or listen to a lecture before they come to class. Students then perform activates in class
