The Health Triangle

1. Martina has been feeling down lately. She doesn't want to go to school or hang out with her friends. She has been losing weight because she doesn't feel hungry. All she wants to do is sleep. She knows she needs some help. Who could help Martina with her problem? 2. Julio's dad is an alcoholic. He drinks from the time he gets home from work until he passes out. Sometimes he is angry and aggressive. Sometimes he just sits in his chair. Julio is embarrassed by his dad. He is afraid to bring his friends home because he doesn't know how his father will act. Who could help Julio with his problem? 3. Haley has heard some kids talking about AIDS in her gym class. They are saying that the disease is really easy to catch and can live on toilet seats. They say that anyone who uses the bathrooms at school will probably get AIDS sooner or later. Haley isn't sure if the information she is hearing is true, but she is afraid to use the bathrooms at school, which is causing a problem. Where could she access reliable information? Whats The Scenario?

8. Rachel has been having a hard time in school. No matter how hard she tries, she just can't seem to keep up. Her parents are really angry about her grades and are threatening to ground her if things don't improve. Her boyfriend is angry and threatening to break up with her if she doesn't spend some time with him. She doesn't know what to do and is tired of trying. She has lost all hope and is thinking of committing suicide. She has even thought of a plan. Where could she find help? 4. Lucie has noticed that her best friend, Janetta, has a lot of bruises on her arms and legs. Whenever she asks about them, Janetta just says that she fell down or got them playing soccer. One day, Lucie notices that Janetta has a black eye. When she asks about it, Janetta starts crying and says that her mom hit her. How could Lucie help Janetta find help? 7. Jake was hanging out with some kids after school. Some of the kids decided to shoplift at a near-by electronic store. Jake was with them, but he didn't take anything. They were caught, and all of them were arrested, even Jake. Jake needs some legal help, but his family doesn't have much money. Where could he find help?
